Automatic Wobble Trap now available for member use. The hand trap has been such a popular benefit over the years we have expanded that on a trial basis. Please treat this machine with respect. We’d really like to see this become a permanent benefit in the future.
Operation is very simple, but subject to some rules in order to keep it available to all members.
When you arrive, simply load your standard trap clay targets in the carousel, unroll the foot release from the hose hanger, and shoot. When you’re finished, pick up your hulls, wrap the foot release cable back on the hose hanger and leave. This is a Wobble trap meaning target presentation will vary horizontally AND vertically with each target you release. For targets in a single path, please use the manual hand trap that’s still available.
-Do NOT move the switches. When you’re finished, the machine will automatically time itself out.
-Do NOT adjust anything on the machine. If you feel it needs adjusting or service, text me.
-Do not leave extra targets for the next person. Do NOT recycle used targets on this machine. Used targets WILL break & clog the machine potentially burning out the motors.
-This is a professional grade machine that’s currently throwing targets about 45 mph. Be cautious when loading it. Load from the side, never the front. Respect it when it’s in use, it’s a powerful machine that can injure you if you don’t pay attention when loading it.
If you’ve never shot Wobble Trap, it adds a whole new dimension to the experience. This can be a really fun member benefit it it doesn’t become a maintenance nightmare. Please remember to pick up all your hulls and be sure the foot release is replaced on the hose hanger every time you’re through using it.
